Snowed: A Short Story Published in Crack the Spine Literary Magazine


In my fiction workshop last year, professor Pam Painter charged us with writing a short short story that began with the line, “The neighbors were at it again.”

  1. I like the story. (I have not shoveled snow either, except in an emergency but have a partner who is out when the first flake falls). Issues of control, family history and guilt very interesting and succinctly revealed.
